The important information in this chapter is summarized below. Pythagorean Theorem Summary The Pythagorean theorem states that in any right triangle, the square of the length of the hypotenuse equals the sum of the squares of the lengths of the other two sides.
This formula is written as a2+ b2= c2

First. square A and B
Next. at them together to get C
Last, take the square root of it to get what C equals.
