Factor by Grouping
by Brendan McLaughlin and Brandon Friedman
Summary:
Factoring By Grouping is the formula used to factor problems with 4 terms.
First what you have to do is group the first 2 terms and the last 2 terms
Then you have to find a common factor to take out of each group
Then combine the two common factors to create a new parentheses and use the other common parentheses between the two
Now put these parentheses together and you have your final answer!
